Mo Soccer Academy 2025-2026 Tryouts Registration

Mo Soccer Academy is thrilled to invite Girls born between 2008-2016 to our 2025-2026 Travel Team Tryouts. This is your chance to be part of a competitive and development-driven program that emphasizes technical excellence, tactical awareness, and high-level training, all within a positive and enjoyable environment designed to help players thrive and grow.

• Tryout dates, times, and location are TBD.

• No tryout fees.

• Middle school teams begin training in August 2025.

• High school teams begin training in November 2025.

• Attendance at both tryout dates is strongly encouraged.

 

What to Expect at Mo Soccer Academy

Players who are accepted into Mo Soccer Academy will have the opportunity to compete against top travel teams both within and beyond the Eastern Pennsylvania Regional area, participating in high-level tournaments, leagues, and showcases that challenge them to grow and excel.

At Mo Soccer Academy, our core focus is player growth and development through high-level training. We are committed to helping players enhance their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall game intelligence in a competitive yet supportive environment.

- Dedication and commitment to training and team development.
- A positive attitude that fuels both individual and team success.

What Our Travel Teams Include

• 2-3 training sessions per week (varies by age group).

• Individual skill development with a focus on ball mastery and game intelligence.

• Competing in USYS and EDP leagues/showcases, EPYSA tournaments/cups, and other high-level tournaments and showcases, with selections based on age, location, and team development goals.

• Access to indoor facility

* As availability/acceptances in leagues and tournaments may change, competition substitution may be adjusted.​

Mo Soccer Academy is committed to player growth and development, following Mo’s training methodology, which emphasizes technical proficiency, creativity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the game.​

Tryout Preparations

To ensure a smooth tryout process, please review the following guidelines:

• Arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in.

• Players must report to the check-in table upon arrival.

• Each player will receive a numbered pinnie for evaluation purposes. This pinnie must be returned after each tryout session and will be reassigned at the second tryout.

Player Equipment & Dress Code

• Players must wear cleats and shin guards (socks must be worn over shin guards).

• Players should dress appropriately for weather conditions.

• Players must bring water and any necessary medical equipment (such as an inhaler).

• No need to bring a soccer ball—all training equipment will be provided.

Parental Guidelines

• No coaching or communication from parents during the tryout session.

• Any medical conditions must be noted on the registration form.

• If a player sustains an injury, a coach or evaluator will bring them to their parent/guardian.

• Young players often put pressure on themselves during tryouts. We strive to create a relaxed environment where players can focus on showcasing their skills without unnecessary stress.

• Parents may stay at the tryout location but should not engage with players during the session.​

Post-Tryout Process

Following the final tryout, evaluators and coaches will review player performances and finalize team rosters.

• Players will receive email notifications regarding their selection status.

• If selected, players must confirm acceptance within 72 hours via email.

• If no response is received, the roster spot will be offered to the next player on the list.
